Summary for a Week

I've been busy for the past couple of days. Apparently, I'm busy with all the submissions and the reading for the next hearing date. Wrongful dismissal, constructive dismissal, retrechment and redundancy, demolition and downgrading, bla bla bla, reinstatement, bla bla bla, sexual harrassment, ahh..macam-macam lah vocab 'baru'. All the new interesting things that are fun to deal with. The workload is heavy but I love my job (for now).

On my first day, we got a client crying in our discussion room telling us the chronology of events leading to her resignation. She was sexually harassed by her employer and I have to prepare her Statement of Case. That was forenoon. Right after lunch, there's a meeting with one client for the case of constructive dismissal by the company. See... hari pertama yang produktif. :)

Masuk hari kedua, I've been working my ass in drafting pleadings. It took me one whole day to finish my Statement of Case and the Witness Statement, apakah? Lama hoi! Ahhh... guna alasan first time draft Statement of Case padahal Statement of Case is more or less similar to Statemen of Claim. (Talking about 2 months holiday break here.)

Hari ketiga keempat, tak payah cakap lah ye. Paling awal sampai rumah pukul 8 malam. Macam semalam, keluar office pukul 9 malam. Itu pun sebab takut dah dengar bunyi pelik-pelik. Nasib baik office sebelah shopping mall. Ohh, did I tell you guys that my office is at Damansara Intan, next to Tropicana City Mall?? Haha.. yes yes. Lepas nie kalau stress boleh jalan kaki pergi tengok movie dekat Tropicana City Mall (and cakap dekat boss, "Saya ada appointment boss!") atau pun boleh pergi Borders dan baca buku free dan bagi alasan nak buat research! Haha.

Anyway, my baby brother had an accident. Somebody knocked him down while he was cycling with his friends to get Arif's favourite cakoi and bring it to him masa melawat. Kesian jimbo! He was knocked down sampai pengsan and he got a minor concussion plus 15-20 stitches dekat kepala. And that lady driver, boleh tanya macam mana nak angkat bumper kereta dia yang jatuh and kemek tu? Hellooooooooo? Consider the fact that it's a residential area dan kau bawak kereta laju-laju tu kau tak kesah pulak?

Budak nakal yang pasif tiba-tiba. Tapi ward paed Tawakal Hospital comel!

So yeah, not a great weekend for me. I had sleepless nights and today I went to the office with my eyes half-opened and brain half-functioning and I felt like a zombie. Cool habisss! And as usual, setiap pagi lari pergi beli Iced Caramel Macchiato with extra caramel (or Iced Choc!) dan jumpa abang-Starbucks-yang-tak-handsome-tapi-cute. Haha. Miskin kalau lama-lama macam nie. (Ohh..ada Tutti Frutti as well!) Mati!

Dan untuk kerja-kerja hari ini at least cemerlang lah sikit! (Sekurang-kurangnya nampak matahari bila balik!) Haha. Selamat malam.
